qRT-PCR

Our quantitative real-time PCR ABI 7900HT enables gene expression analysis, using TaqMan chemistry, in custom 96- or 384-well format. BEA also has the equipment to run 384-well Taqman low density arrays (TLDA).




Applied Biosystems recommends using 100 ng cDNA per port. BEA can perform cDNA synthesis using invitrogen’s Superscript III First-Strand Synthesis Supermix for qRT-PCR. This means, if you want to run 100 ng cDNA per port for a 96 format array, you will need to provide us with at least 400 ng of total RNA in maximum 8 ul.


The TLDA arrays provided by Applied Biosystems are 384-well micro fluidic cards preloaded with Taqman gene expression assays, where you can choose from over 50,000 assays designed for human, rat and mouse. The system enables you to study gene expression in up to 8 samples and for 384 gene targets in one single PCR run. You can customize the TLDA arrays with your genes of interest or choose among Applied Biosystems' predesigned Gene Signature Arrays:
